About the role

We’re hiring a Solutions Architect for our sales team. You’ll work with our Account Managers to understand what customers are trying to accomplish, then design technical solutions that fit!

This is an in-office position in our Oklahoma City or Tulsa office. Expect about 25% travel to customer sites within Oklahoma.

What you’ll do

• Work with Account Managers to match customer business challenges to secure technology solutions
• Run requirements-gathering sessions with customers and turn the results into clear technical designs
• Deliver presentations and/or product demos for technical and non-technical audiences
• Design solutions across enterprise networking, collaboration, data center and cybersecurity portfolios
• Scope projects and write statements of work
• Review customer environments and recommend ways to optimize and secure them
• Work with our partner field sales and architecture teams on joint opportunities
• Keep current with the latest technology solutions and trends
• Travel to customer sites around Oklahoma, about 25% of the time

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years of experience with Cisco technologies in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or architecture role
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one of enterprise networking, collaboration, cybersecurity, or data center and working knowledge of the others
• Experience gathering requirements and turning them into a design a customer can approve
• Experience delivering demos and presenting to customers
• Experience scoping projects and writing SOWs
• Clear written and verbal communication, including with non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in the office and travel to customer sites in Oklahoma

Preferred certifications

CCNP or CCIE in Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, or Data Center.
