Citizens Caring for Children 2015 Corporate Partner of the Year

Chickasaw Telecom, Inc. was honored to be selected as the Citizens Caring for Children 2015 Corporate Partner of the Year.

This is just one of the organizations our corporate responsibility has lead us to support over the last couple of years. They are working hard to make a difference in the lives of foster children in Oklahoma. One of the reasons Chickasaw Telecom, Inc. supports this cause is because they are local to Oklahoma and they keep their overhead extremely low. Almost $.88 cents of every dollar donated goes to the children they serve.

There are over 12,300 children in foster care in Oklahoma. There are over 3,200 in foster care in the seven county region Citizens Caring for Children services. There are many ways to help out besides monetary donations. They are always looking for volunteers to help out with their events and resource center and they desperately need mentors for the foster children.
